Architecture Library Guide

Information regarding resources, services and policies found on the Rensselaer Libraries site apply to all users of the Rensselaer Libraries.

This guide is designed to provide location-specific information about the branch library in the Greene building, and services pertinent to users in the School of Architecture. 

Fall 2018 Hours

  • Monday - Thursday:  8:30 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Friday:  8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturday:  2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Sunday:  3:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Fall hours are in effect September 4 - December 21, 2018.  

Exceptions to regular hours:‚Äč

  • Mon. - Wed. November 19 - 21:  8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Thurs. - Sun. November 22 - 25:  *Closed*

Tentative schedule  - dependent upon staffing availability.

Evening and weekend access to the Greene Building requires a valid RPI ID card issued to current School of Architecture students, faculty and staff.

Our library could not operate without our student workers. If you would like to apply for a job in the Architecture Library, please fill out a form and submit it at the Service Desk.

Information Literacy Training

The Libraries now have access to InfoLit, a series of tutorials and videos designed to develop the user's knowledge and skills in information literacy.

New Books

To recommend materials (books, DVDs, etc) for the Libraries collection, please send an email to Elizabeth Buckley with as much information as possible (title, author, publisher, date of publication, ISBN), or a link to the item on a website, and the suggested item will be considered for purchase.
